A very long day

Today I was lining soccer games all day, five games with half hour breaks in between and plus thirty degree weather made for a long day.I got on the field at 9:30am and left it at 7:30pm ,I had fun and left with a wicked sun burn to remember the day by. But I must say I was looking forward to leaving, the last half of the final game seemed like it lasted forever. It was disappointing to watch all my old teammates loose but that is kinda a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black as my team lost the gold medal game to a team we hadn't had any problems beating previously. I guess the Albertans have to win gold now and then seaming as my team has won the gold in each age group for the last six or seven years in a row. No offense to you guys but you think living on a giant field of a province would give you a slight advantage over us mountain people but that doesn't seem to be the case. Oh well soccer is always there for the taking next year.
