On soccer fields were players grow among the spectators row on row.

Well last night was my second soccer game of the year against sparwood 1. We lost the first game against sparwood two because we were missing our two best forwards, best midfield and best defense. So the Sparwood one team came in thinking they would slaughter us. We beat them 2-0. The Goalie had an amazing drop kick that sent it deep past half, That would have been effective if one of my best friends Devin regier didn't head it back into there Eighteen yard box.I mean this goalie could send it 60ft high. it would come in like a comet, and Devin would streak in and send it back into there end. By the sixth time there goalie sent it down the middle there Forwards were screaming at him "NOT THE MIDDLE NOT THE MIDDLE." To which Devin obligingly sent them packing. By half time they had put a tall kid to knock Devin off the ball like he said they would. They did it once. The second time Me and Steven (the other two defence) leveled the kid when he got close to Dev (Note" shoulder to shoulder contact is perfectly legal). The Second thing that happened last night was I got my first ever Yellow card. For those of you who are not soccer savvy there are two types of cards. Red which means an instant send off of the field and in my league you are kicked out for the rest of the season. You only get these for being violent. The second is a yellow card. Two of these equal a red card. Anyways this kid was coming up the middle with the ball and I we both went to kick it. I hit his foot and sent him flying. Devin said that he somersaulted three times before he stopped. The reff called me over and gave me a yellow card, I really wasn't aiming for him. Even though he was mocking me during the game. He wasn't hurt. I cant say that I was overly remorseful. He was allot nicer to me after that. Im sorry but on the soccer field I am totaly unimotional. Especialy when I am on Deffence. You are on obstacle. You either move or I move you. Over all the game was good. We beat them even though we have had two crappy reffs for both games. But eh, to the victor goes the spoils.
